The trip
A beautifully balanced 5-day Bhutan holiday in 2026 with 2 nights in capital city Thimphu and 2 nights in picturesque Paro. Marvel at the giant golden Buddha Dordenma, explore royal chortens, immerse in traditional Bhutanese arts, and undertake the spiritual pilgrimage to Tiger's Nest.
Route · Paro → Thimphu → Taktsang → Dochula View → National Museum
Slow, thoughtful travel moments that guidebooks miss — curated exclusively for Paro.
Curation Philosophy
Zero Mass Tourism Stops
Beyond the Tourist Trail
Step inside a traditional stone-and-pine mountain home. Sip fresh rhododendron or saffron tea while listening to folklore about ancient trade routes.
Farm-to-Table Dining
Savor a traditional sit-down feast cooked with slow mountain fire pots, hand-ground spices, and recipes passed through generations.
Curator's Secret Lookout
Skip the crowded sunset viewpoints. Our chauffeured drivers take you to an unmapped panoramic meadow for serene sunset views over snow peaks.
Acclimatization guidance, oxygen preparedness, and medical safety for Paro.
Safety Level
Mountain Medical Certified
Altitude rises significantly above 2,500m (e.g. Kedarnath 3,584m, Badrinath 3,300m, Tiger's Nest 3,120m). Drink 3-4 liters of water daily, avoid alcohol, and maintain a measured walking rhythm.
Portable emergency oxygen canisters are available on request in our vehicles. Drivers carry basic high-altitude first-aid kits and are trained to reach the nearest government emergency dispensaries promptly.
For senior citizens or families, verified government-registered ponies, palkis (sedan chairs), and helicopter shuttle boarding assistance are coordinated on-ground by our destination reps.
Fitness Recommendation: We suggest light 20-30 min morning walks or stair climbing 2 weeks prior to departure to ensure maximum comfort during hillside temple walks.
